ASO-S Mission
Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory (ASO-S for short) is my country's first comprehensive solar exploration satellite and one of the space science satellites deployed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences' strategic pilot science and technology special space science (Phase II). The ASO-S satellite was independently proposed by scientists in the solar physics community in my country. It was officially approved by the Chinese Academy of Sciences on December 29, 2017. It will be launched in 2022.
