美国亚力桑那大学John S. Lewis教授在空间中心举行系列讲座

应空间中心的邀请，美国亚力桑那大学John S. Lewis教授在我中心为广大专家学者做了一系列学术报告，题目如下：

1、"The Origin of Planetary Systems"

2、 "Asteroid and Comet Impacts with Earth: A Hazard Assessment"

3、"The Mineral Resources of Nearby Space"

4、"Sources of Helium-3 for Clean Fusion Power on Earth"

5、"China's Lunar Exploration Program: Lessons from the Past and Opportunities for the Future"

目前，报告已进行了5场，参加报告的学者纷纷反映Lewis教授学识渊博，经验丰富，大家从报告中收益匪浅。

5月19日，John S. Lewis教授在做第五场题为“美国的月球探测项目”的学术报告时,来自国家航天局月球工程中心、国家天文台、北京天文馆和空间中心的许多领导和学生都聆听了报告。空间中心主任吴季出席、副主任王赤主持了这场报告。
