This office is responsible for organizing the overall EP Satellite Project management, the technical coordination among different systems, organization of the interface test between different systems, and the operation of satellite in orbit.
The Satellite System:Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of CAS
The satellite system is responsible for the design and development of the satellite and the payloads, the realization of the operation of satellite in orbit, the collection and transmission of the scientific-exploration-data to the ground station. Among them, the payloads Wide-field X-ray Telescope (WXT) is jointly developed by Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics and National Astronomical Observatories of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Sciences Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS is in charge of the development and study of the payloads Follow-up X-ray Telescope (FXT).
Launch Vehicle System:The First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation
This system is in charge of developing and producing the rocket and casting the satellite into the designated orbit with the support from the launch site and the telemetry and telecommand Control System.
The Ground Support System:
This system is responsible for the development of the Ground Support System and the operation of payloads on board and the implementation of scientific exploration tasks. It is also in charge of receiving, pre-processing, organizing, and data archiving in order to provide long-term data publishing service.
The Scientific Application System:
This system is responsible for the development and the operation of the Scientific Application System, planning for scientific observation, and guiding the implementation of scientific exploration tasks. It also processes and analyzes the received scientific data, participates in the release of data, and provides support for scientific users.
